فرض العنابي نفسه أحد أبرز عناوين الجولة الأولى من منافسات كأس العالم 2026، بعدما انتزع تعادلا ثمينا أمام المنتخب السويسري بهدف لمثله ضمن منافسات المجموعة الثانية من المونديال المقام حاليا في الولايات المتحدة والمكسيك وكندا.
ولم تتوقف أهمية النتيجة عند حدود حصول «الأدعم» على أول نقطة في تاريخه بكأس العالم خلال مشاركته الثانية في البطولة بعد ظهوره الأول في نسخة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، بل امتدت إلى ما هو أبعد من ذلك، بعدما حظي المنتخب بإشادات واسعة من عدد من وسائل الإعلام العالمية التي سلطت الضوء على المستوى الفني المتميز والانضباط التكتيكي والشخصية القوية التي ظهر بها الفريق أمام أحد أكثر المنتخبات الأوروبية استقرارا وخبرة على الساحة الدولية.


وأجمعت غالبية التغطيات الإعلامية على أن العنابي قدم أداء ناضجا عكس حجم التطور الذي شهدته الكرة القطرية خلال السنوات الأخيرة، بعدما تمكن من الصمود أمام الضغط السويسري لفترات طويلة من المباراة، قبل أن ينجح في العودة بالنتيجة خلال الوقت بدل الضائع عبر هدف المدافع المخضرم خوخي بوعلام، في مشهد جسد الروح القتالية العالية التي تحلى به اللاعبون حتى اللحظات الأخيرة.
ورأى موقع «ESPN» الأمريكي أن المنتخب القطري حقق مفاجأة لافتة ليحصد أول نقطة في تاريخه بكأس العالم.
وحمل عنوان التقرير «سويسرا تشعر بخيبة أمل كبيرة بعد حرمانها من الفوز أمام قطر الفخورة بأول نقطة لها في كأس العالم».
من جانبها، رأت الكاتبة الإيطالية أليس كاكامو أن صفحة جديدة في تاريخ كرة القدم القطرية كتبت على ملعب سانتا كلارا في الولايات المتحدة، عندما نجح المنتخب القطري في فرض التعادل على المنتخب السويسري .
وأضافت في تحليل نشرته صحيفة «CalcioWeb» الإلكترونية الإيطالية تحت عنوان «إنجاز قطري بفضل تصديات أبو ندى»، أن المنتخب السويسري، ااصطدم بمنتخب قطري أظهر كبرياء كبيرا وروحا قتالية عالية، إلى جانب التألق اللافت للحارس محمود أبو ندى.
بدورها، اعتبرت وكالة «DKNews» الكازاخستانية للأنباء أن نتيجة المباراة تمثل علامة فارقة في تاريخ الكرة القطرية، خصوصا أنها جاءت بعد المشاركة السابقة التي انتهت من دون تحقيق أي نقطة.
وسلطت صحيفة «The Telegraph» البريطانية الضوء على الجدل التحكيمي الذي رافق مباراة قطر وسويسرا، بعدما أثار قرار احتساب ركلة جزاء لصالح المنتخب السويسري الكثير من التساؤلات.
وأوضحت الصحيفة أن الإعادات التلفزيونية أظهرت شبهة تسلل على لاعب الوسط السويسري ريمو فريلير قبل تعرضه للعرقلة من الحارس محمود أبو ندى داخل منطقة الجزاء، وهو ما أثار نقاشا واسعا حول صحة القرار. أما وسائل الإعلام السويسرية، فقد تعاملت مع النتيجة باعتبارها تعثرا غير متوقع للمنتخب السويسري، مقابل احتفاء قطري واسع بالنقطة التاريخية الأولى في كأس العالم.أما صحيفة «24heures» فقالت إن المنتخب القطري نجح في مفاجأة السويسريين وإجبارهم على الاكتفاء بنقطة واحدة، رغم اعتماده على التنظيم الدفاعي، كما رأت أن المنتخب السويسري بدا مترددا ومقيدا في العديد من فترات المباراة.
من جهتها، نقلت صحيفة «La Liberté» تصريحات قائد المنتخب السويسري غرانيت تشاكا الذي أشاد بالمستوى الذي قدمه المنتخب القطري وحارسه محمود أبو ندى، حيث قال تشاكا: «الحارس القطري قدم مباراة بمستوى عالمي، كما يجب أن نظهر الاحترام لمنتخب قطر الذي صمد طوال اللقاء قبل أن يستغل فرصته».
بدورها، وصفت صحيفة «Le Nouvelliste» النتيجة بأنها تعثر للمنتخب السويسري، معتبرة أن الحصيلة كانت مخيبة للآمال،.
أما صحيفة «Blick»، فقد أشادت بأداء المنتخب القطري، مؤكدة أن رجال المدرب الإسباني جولين لوبيتيغي أظهروا شخصية قوية وروحا قتالية عالية. newsbetting.bond

The FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 made history as the first-ever 48-team FIFA World Cup, welcoming 1,008 young players to showcase their talent across 104 matches.
